Job Title: SEN TutorJob Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Tutor to provide tailored support and guidance to students with special educational needs. As an SEN Tutor, you will play a vital role in creating individualised learning plans, adapting teaching methods to suit each student's unique requirements, and monitoring progress closely.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualised learning plans to meet the needs of students with special educational needs
  • Adapt teaching methods to suit each student's unique requirements, ensuring inclusive and effective learning
  • Monitor progress closely, providing regular feedback and support to students and parents
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure seamless support for students
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and research in special education, applying this knowledge to inform teaching and support strategies
Requirements:
  • Relevant experience working with students with special educational needs
  • A relevant degree or certification in Special Education or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience in SEN education
  • In-depth understanding of special educational needs and strategies to support students
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching techniques to meet individual needs
Working Conditions:

This is a part-time, temporary position with the option to become permanent in the future. The successful candidate will be based in South East England, Berkshire, Reading.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position.
