Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team at a trendy and quality quick service restaurant in Islington. As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for leading a hardworking team of staff, delivering an efficient service, and running a tight ship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of staff to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high standards of quality and cleanliness.
  • Assist the Restaurant Manager in the day-to-day running of the restaurant, including staff management, inventory control, and financial management.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, increase sales, and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager to create a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork and employee engagement.
  • Monitor and control labor costs, inventory levels, and waste management to ensure maximum profitability.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Assistant Restaurant Manager or in a similar role in the quick service industry.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Knowledge of restaurant operations, including inventory management, labor laws, and health and safety regulations.
