Job Title: Assembly Technician

About the Role:

Nicholas Associates Careers is seeking an experienced Assembly Technician to join our vibrant alternative green energy technology company based in Doncaster. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling mechanical parts to engineering drawings, bending and installing small and large bore stainless tubing, and maintaining company standards of accuracy and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble mechanical parts to engineering drawings with precision and accuracy.
  • Bend and install small and large bore stainless tubing to meet engineering specifications.
  • Maintain a sound understanding of general mechanical principles and apply them to daily tasks.
  • Work closely with the design team to report findings and improvements.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of workshop and stores procedures.

Requirements:

  • Qualified in an appropriate engineering discipline.
  • Experience working in an engineering assembly environment.
  • Experience with solid pipework, including stainless, twin ferruled systems.
  • Knowledge of tubing systems, fittings, pipework, and instrumentation.
  • High standard of written and verbal communication.
