If you possess expertise in Electronic Fault Diagnosis, Soldering, and Electrical Wiring, we invite you to consider a role with Owen Daniels Consultancy, a prominent player in the field of sensing products and systems designed for critical environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance production workflows and pinpoint opportunities for improvement to boost operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with product quality standards and manufacturing processes, including ISO 9001.
- Develop and maintain robust designs and processes for the manufacturing team, achieving targets for product yield, quality, and timelines.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to advocate for and implement design for manufacturing principles throughout the product lifecycle.
- Lead initiatives focused on continuous improvement and lean manufacturing across the operations team.
- Provide training to the operations team on best practices for essential processes.
- Create comprehensive and precise work instructions utilizing CAD and written documentation.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a practical Electrical/Electronic Production Engineering role.
- A degree or HND (or equivalent experience) in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in electronic fault diagnosis, soldering, and electrical wiring.
- Thorough understanding of manufacturing processes and quality assurance.
- Strong analytical skills, including root cause analysis techniques.
- Familiarity with CAD software, Microsoft Office suite, and MRP systems.
- Ability to develop and refine work instructions for product manufacturing.
- Working knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
