Job Opportunity at Oxford Knight

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and motivated problem-solver to join the Business Engineering team at Oxford Knight, a leading global insurance firm. As the first-ever senior data hire, you will be part of a highly experienced team that develops and enhances systems used across the business, including front office trading, middle office operations, and actuarial functions.

You will work with other engineers to design and develop data services across the business, including feed and trade processing systems, as well as data pipelines to extract and transform critical data used by strategists.

Requirements
  1. 5+ years' experience of data engineering, preferably in the financial services industry
  2. Solid experience of data integration, modelling, optimisation and data quality tools and techniques
  3. Experience with AWS is a must-have
  4. Knowledge of SDLC and development best practices
Desirable Skills
  1. Experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL database technologies
  2. Familiarity with developing and maintaining data warehouses/lakes using big data solutions (e.g. Snowflake, Databricks)
