About the Role

Civil and Structural Engineering

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our Building Structures team at our Teesside office. As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will play a key role in the efficient and compliant delivery of all structural engineering design on our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Contribute to the development of structural engineering designs and solutions for our clients.
  2. Work closely with our Principal Structural Engineer and Lead Project Engineer to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
  3. Provide day-to-day engineering design support and client liaison services.
  4. Take ownership of design responsibility for parts of the structural design works on our projects.
Requirements and Qualifications
  1. Chartered Engineer status or equivalent qualifications.
  2. Experience in large energy transmission and distribution projects, or similar sectors.
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use a variety of structural engineering methods and software.
  4. Knowledge of construction materials, techniques, and standards.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
