About the RoleWe are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team at Usher Hall, Edinburgh. As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our office and events venue premises.
Main Responsibilities- Clean and maintain office and event spaces, including washrooms, kitchens, and venue hall
- Perform deep cleans as required, using buffers and carpet cleaners
- Ensure premises are safe and disinfected regularly
- Remove waste, replenish consumables, and attend to reactive jobs (spillages)
- Provide excellent customer service while working with clients and their staff
- Must be well-presented and a good communicator
- Must have a can-do attitude and a polite, approachable demeanor
- Hardworking and proactive, with good timekeeping and attendance record
- Previous cleaning experience preferred, with a focus on unsupervised work and prioritizing workload
- Strong customer service, care, and leadership skills
- Problem-solving and time management skills desired
- Ability to work to set schedules and on own initiative
- Flexible and proactive attitude essential
- Understanding and knowledge of health and safety policies
- Must represent ABM values on site by being presentable, uniformed, and helpful at all times
