THE CHARALLE GROUP is a leading provider of legal services, seeking a highly skilled and organized Legal Support Specialist to join our Personal Injury Team.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and efficient Legal Support Specialist to provide administrative support to our Personal Injury Team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in law, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the Personal Injury Team, including transcribing dictation, digital filing, and drafting letters.
- Prepare and assist with engagement letters, file opening, and billing.
- Act as initial filer for enquiries and assist with printing, creating documents, and sending letters.
- Provide an efficient and effective service to clients, updating them and keeping them informed.
- Communicate clearly and politely with clients, work colleagues, and others.
- Assist and support more senior members of the team with work or tasks as required.
- Ensure that standards of quality and the reputation of the firm are maintained at all times.
- Support the effectiveness of the team by being positive and co-operative with all team members.
- Demonstrate commitment to the role, Department, and THE CHARALLE GROUP through excellent punctuality, timekeeping, and attendance.
- Demonstrate ability to time manage and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
- Take initiative for self-development and accept changes and new challenges required to meet individual and Departmental objectives.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of Personal Injury Litigation, court processes, and efiling.
- Good team player willing to work cooperatively with others.
- Good organization with strong administration skills.
- Common sense, practical approach to problem solving.
- Able to produce a large quantity of work and complete tasks to strict deadlines.
- IT skills including Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel. Experience such as Proclaim and BigHand desirable but not essential.
- Some experience of case management systems would be desirable.
- Excellent internal stakeholder and client handling skills.
