The Role – General Machinist
Wykes Engineering is seeking a skilled General Machinist to contribute to our expanding engineering team. We require someone with a meticulous approach to their work and a willingness to learn all aspects of our product range.
Key Responsibilities:
•Operate and set up various machines, including milling machines, centre lathes, saws, radial drills, and manual milling machines
•Read and interpret engineering drawings to understand specifications
•Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required standards
•Maintain equipment by cleaning and performing regular maintenance
•Collaborate with engineers and the production team to improve processes
•Ensure that H&S are maintained throughout, following procedure and safe systems of work.

We are looking for someone with the ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet production goals.
