The Opportunity

Product Brand Strategist – Purpose Driven Foods

We are in search of an exceptional Product Brand Strategist. Reporting to the Marketing Lead, this role is crucial in defining and managing the brand identities, narratives, strategies, and market presence of our diverse portfolio at Purpose Driven Foods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Brand Strategy Development: Partner with the Marketing Lead to craft and execute a holistic brand strategy that aligns with the company's overarching objectives. Ensure uniformity in brand messaging and visual representation across all platforms.
  • Market Positioning: Identify and engage target demographics, analyze market trends, and assess competitor positioning. Refine the brand's market stance to resonate with consumers and distinguish our offerings.
  • Brand Activation: Collaborate with the Marketing Manager and other departments to design and implement integrated marketing initiatives that boost brand visibility, product trials, and consumer engagement. Activate the brand through strategic partnerships, events, and sponsorships.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside product development, sales, and marketing teams to ensure cohesive brand strategies and messaging. Provide insights on product packaging, labeling, and overall presentation to maintain brand integrity.
  • Creative Content Development: Generate compelling visual and written content to effectively convey the brand narrative. Collaborate with external agencies and internal creative teams to produce impactful, on-brand materials.
  • Digital and Social Media Management: Oversee the brand's presence on social media platforms, crafting engaging content and fostering community interaction with target audiences. Work with digital marketing teams to enhance online visibility and customer engagement. Monitor digital trends and adapt strategies to strengthen the brand's online footprint.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators to assess the effectiveness and return on investment of brand initiatives, adjusting strategies as necessary.

Qualifications:

This role demands a creative and strategic thinker with a passion for branding, a deep understanding of consumer behavior, and the ability to work collaboratively across various teams.

Being open to engaging in cross-functional tasks beyond your primary responsibilities is essential. This includes hands-on activities such as assisting with logistics and ensuring a positive work environment.

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience in marketing roles within the food and beverage sector.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Experience in community engagement, either directly or indirectly.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think innovatively and strategically.
  • Proven success in developing and executing effective brand strategies from the ground up.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing and social media trends.
