Working Hours: (Mon-Thurs: 8:00 to 4:30 PM) and Fri: 8:00 to 1:00 PM

Belcan is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to work with our Aerospace client in Prestwick for an 18-month contract.

The successful candidate will have experience working with pressure vessels, cryogenics, hydrogen, nitrogen, fuel systems, test rigs, or any pressurized gas cylinder.

As a Manufacturing Process Engineer, you will collaborate closely with the Design and Stress team.

  • Participate in design tests and industrial test reviews.
  • Experience as a Manufacturing Process Engineer in relevant fields.
  • Proficiency in software: Catia V5, SAP, and MBSE (Model-based Systems Engineering) - Desirable.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement manufacturing processes to ensure high-quality products.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and test new products.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.

Provide technical guidance and support to production staff.

Requirements

Relevant experience in manufacturing engineering or a related field.

Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.

Proficiency in software: Catia V5, SAP, and MBSE (Model-based Systems Engineering) - Desirable.
