Support Worker - Physical Disabilities and Acquired Brain Injury

Salary: £9 per hour plus benefits, including paid induction and additional sleeping nights for £50 per night. Overtime is available for hours exceeding 37.5 per week, with shifts scheduled from Monday to Sunday.

Shift Patterns: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Are you proactive and compassionate? Do you have experience in supporting individuals with acquired brain injuries, challenging behaviors, and physical disabilities? If you reside locally and possess the right to work in the UK, we invite you to join our team and help us create a positive impact.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication administration (post-training), grocery shopping, and attending health appointments.
  • Support individuals in engaging in offsite activities, such as social outings, recreational activities, and even vacations, to help them live fulfilling lives.
  • Safeguard and promote the welfare of those in your care.
  • Help individuals set and achieve both short-term and long-term goals.

As a Support Worker, you will collaborate closely with management and a supportive team to ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centered care. You will play a vital role in fostering inclusive communities where individuals with disabilities can thrive.

Who You Will Support:
You will be part of a team that supports up to five individuals with diverse health conditions, including acquired brain injuries and other physical disabilities. Your role will encompass all aspects of daily living, from personal care to cooking and cleaning.

Some individuals may exhibit challenging behaviors, but you will be equipped with training and support to provide the necessary care confidently.
