Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Focus Management Consultants. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for setting up contracts for supply manufacturing capacity efficiently and sustainably.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading food business as a Buyer in Co-Manufactured Finished Products. You will work closely with our NPD and supply chain teams to support new launches and collaborate with internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring efficient and sustainable supply chain operations
- Set up contracts for supply manufacturing capacity, managing complex supply base and negotiating with suppliers
- Work closely with NPD and supply chain teams to support new product launches and drive business growth
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless supply chain operations
- Manage and analyze data to inform procurement decisions and drive business improvement
Requirements:
- Strong procurement experience working with 3rd party manufacturers within an FMCG environment (ideally food)
- Commercially aware with strong negotiation skills
- Excellent MS Excel skills, numerate and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
What We Offer:
A good work-life balance is essential to our business. We expect our team members to be in the office 2-3 days a week. A car and full driving license are required to get to our site.
