Maintenance Engineer, Plumbing and Heating Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team, specializing in plumbing and heating services. As a key member of our Facilities and Services department, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining these services across our property portfolio.
About the Role
- Carry out planned maintenance activities to ensure the smooth operation of our plumbing and heating systems.
- Diagnose and repair faults on a wide range of equipment, including water heaters, calorifiers, motors, and boilers.
- Take on additional responsibilities for Legionella management and ensure all health and safety obligations are met.
- Produce and manage critical spares lists to ensure efficient maintenance operations.
- Support the Estates Manager in developing process and procedures to improve team efficiency.
Requirements
- NVQ or City & Guilds certification in a relevant category.
- Working knowledge of plumbing, heating, ventilation, F-Gas, and refrigeration.
- Mechanical maintenance engineering experience.
- Gas safe trained.
- Renewable energy installation and maintenance experience.
- Possession of a full UK driving licence is essential.
- Knowledge of hot and cold water systems.
- Good computer literacy skills.
- Knowledge of LEV systems is beneficial.
