STARK Building Materials UK Limited is seeking a People Helpdesk Advisor to join our new People Services team based in Binley, Coventry.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate to gain invaluable experience and insight across a wide range of HR activities in a large, UK-wide organisation.

We are also proud to offer this as a HR Apprenticeship to support you to further increase your qualifications and progress your career.

As a People Helpdesk Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for all colleagues contacting the People Services team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to and resolve queries and tasks coming into the People Service Centre via phone or email.
  • Support with employment documentation queries, right to work check compliance, and pre-employment medicals undertaken where appropriate.
  • Support with any HR administrative tasks for our team members throughout their employment.
  • Collaborate and work together with other team members to ensure HR best practice and colleague experience.
  • Undertake ad hoc project work and attendance on wider HR projects.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Strong service and solution focus.
  • Previous experience handling queries in person, over the phone, and via email.
  • Strong IT skills and usage.
  • Excellent communicator, verbally and in written form.
  • Knowledge of GDPR obligations and compliance to our data privacy policy.
  • Experience of using Service Now / Workday / LMS desirable.
  • Generalist HR experience equally desirable but not essential.
