Main Purpose of the Role

As a Bridge Engineer, you will support our design teams within our Civil Infrastructure division, delivering projects in the Civil & Bridge sector. Initially, you will provide technical support to design teams delivering Bridges and development infrastructure projects.

You will benefit from excellent training and support for your professional development, working in a vibrant space with over 80 professionals across all disciplines.

Our Exeter office is a hub for delivering projects in the Water and Civil infrastructure sectors, with a collaborative and supportive working environment that allows you to create your own pathway and make a real impact.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Conduct site surveys to inform design decisions
  • Design bridges across roads and rail projects, ensuring structural integrity and safety
  • Prepare detailed drawings and specifications for construction
  • Write reports to communicate design decisions and project progress
