Role Purpose

The Grosvenor Treasury operates a cohesive function across our organization, assisting operational entities in various regions, while managing treasury functions for the Group Team and providing treasury insights to our philanthropic initiatives.

This role, situated within the Financing and Front Office team, is designed to provide strategic leadership for treasury front office operations across Grosvenor's international landscape.


Front office responsibilities at Grosvenor encompass interest rate hedging, foreign exchange management, cash investments, bank guarantees, intra-group financing, and cash pooling oversight, along with KYC compliance.


Leading the front office involves ensuring effective execution, support, and advisory services for front office activities across Grosvenor, including collaboration with Financing and Front Office colleagues in planning and executing these activities.

This position offers a chance to influence treasury success as Grosvenor expands and the complexity of treasury responsibilities increases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the treasury front office, ensuring all activities align with best practices, internal policies, and regulatory standards.
  • Manage front office operations, including planning and executing necessary activities, overseeing contractual documentation, maintaining data in the Treasury Management System, and reporting on managed treasury exposures.
  • Oversee the Group's internal liquidity management, including intra-group funding and cash pooling strategies.
  • Ensure KYC compliance for Treasury and lead automation initiatives to streamline the KYC process.
  • Build and leverage stakeholder relationships to gather data for forecasting, planning, and managing front office activities, including cash flow projections.
  • Apply comprehensive knowledge of the regulatory landscape affecting treasury front office operations, preparing for upcoming regulatory changes.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvements in operational efficiency and outcomes for front office activities.
  • Execute treasury risk management strategies for external debt financing, including interest rate and foreign exchange hedging.
  • Develop treasury and financing policies.
  • Support relationships with banks, lenders, and other stakeholders from a front office perspective.
  • Collaborate with the Tax team.
  • Engage in ad hoc projects as needed.

To succeed in this role, you will need to:

  • Collaborate closely and flexibly with finance teams across Grosvenor's operating companies located in various time zones.
  • Act as a trusted business partner, fostering strong collaborative relationships with finance teams and colleagues from other relevant areas, including development and investment.
  • Constructively address performance issues and identify areas of excellence that can be replicated in other treasury activities and debt financing.
  • Work effectively with the entire Treasury team to ensure clear communication and knowledge sharing regarding treasury activities across Grosvenor's global operations.
  • Be capable of managing liquidity and front office activities both independently and as part of a team.
  • Collaborate with the Financing and Front Office Treasury team to arrange necessary front office coverage.
  • Identify and implement process improvements through automation, including appropriate use of AI technologies.
Key Requirements

  • A seasoned treasury professional with a proven track record, ideally within an international organization.
  • Experience in corporate finance.
  • Familiarity with treasury documentation (e.g., ISDAs) is advantageous.
  • AMCT qualification or relevant experience in front office treasury management; accounting qualification is a plus.
  • Strong academic background, with a minimum of a Bachelor's degree.
  • Extensive experience with Treasury systems; familiarity with FIS Integrity is a plus.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Skilled in influencing and persuading stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to simplify complex issues, demonstrating attention to detail while maintaining a strategic perspective.

Engagement with Grosvenor CFOs, Finance Directors and their teams, the Group Treasurer and the Treasury team, debt providers, front office contacts, Grosvenor Legal, external counsel, Tax, Accounting, and the broader business.
