We are seeking a Product Quality Assurance Lead to oversee assurance components of the spacecraft, encompassing suppliers and subsystems through to spacecraft integration and ground segment assurance.

Key Responsibilities for the Product Quality Assurance Lead:

  • Direct Product and Quality Assurance initiatives within project teams
  • Engage with Customers' PA and QA representatives
  • Facilitate Supplier and Subcontractor related PA and QA efforts, including evaluation of supplier strategies, policies, and processes, conduct audits, and assist in ongoing supplier management
  • Assess materials, components, and processes against PA and technical specifications
  • Create Product Assurance documentation for projects and execute assurance plans as necessary
  • Observe manufacturing and testing processes and provide insights as needed
Required Skills & Experience for the Product Quality Assurance Lead:

  • Proven ability to lead functional teams regarding relevant assurance requirements
  • Strong organizational and schedule management capabilities
  • Adaptability to changes in plans and timelines
  • Exceptional technical English written and verbal communication, along with presentation skills
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Product Assurance and/or Quality Assurance, ideally within the Space or Aerospace industries
