Position Overview

As a dedicated caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals with complex care requirements. Your compassionate support will help them maintain their dignity and independence in a home environment.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary duties will include:

  • Providing personal care and assistance with daily living activities.
  • Ensuring the comfort and safety of the service user during both day and night shifts.
  • Supporting the individual in engaging with their hobbies and interests.
  • Monitoring health and well-being, including performing regular checks throughout the night.

Additionally, you will be required to assist with clinical care needs and moving and handling tasks, always prioritizing the individual's comfort and privacy.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who possess:

  • A minimum of 3 months of relevant care experience.
  • Knowledge of medication administration and personal care techniques.
  • Experience in moving and handling.
  • A friendly disposition towards pets, as the service user has a beloved cat.
