The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering comprehensive history lessons to students across various key stages, including KS3, KS4, and KS5. This full-time position involves a commitment to teaching five days a week, alongside essential planning and assessment duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and informative history lessons that align with the National Curriculum.
  • Prepare and plan lessons in advance to ensure a structured learning environment.
  • Promote cultural awareness and development through historical studies.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and educational trips that enhance student learning.

Candidate Requirements:

  • A relevant degree in History or a related field.
  • Recent experience in teaching history, with a strong understanding of the British National Curriculum.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to deliver lessons effectively.
