Job Title: Construction Materials Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Materials Specialist to join our team at Day Group. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for organizing and performing Factory Production Control testing associated with the production of hydraulically bound mixtures.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Routine inspections, sampling, and testing of construction materials
  • Production of compressive strength specimens
  • Participation in research and development projects
  • Physical material trials

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a construction materials technician, asphalt/ready mix concrete technician, or site technician
  • Experience in granular materials sampling, particle size distribution testing, and compressive strength testing
  • Flexible and can-do attitude
  • Ability to hit the ground running
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Full UK driving license
