Note: This position is not eligible for international sponsorship.

Lancashire County Council is dedicated to providing exceptional catering services across various facilities, including 16 residential homes and 11 day centres for older adults, serving over 800 meals daily. We are seeking dedicated individuals to enhance our service.

As a key member of the team at Favordale, you will be responsible for delivering nutritious and well-balanced meals to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve meals and beverages according to established menus and production schedules.
  • Oversee and guide other staff members in their duties.
  • Manage inventory by ordering supplies and receiving deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate records and conduct stock control.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A recognized catering qualification and/or food hygiene certification is preferred.
  • Experience in catering for large groups is advantageous.

Working Schedule:

  • Shift patterns covering a 2-week rota.
  • Availability for alternate weekends (enhancements applicable).
  • Part-time commitment of 24 hours per week.

Important Information:

This role is part-time and operates during term time only. The salary indicated is based on full-time equivalency and will be adjusted accordingly for part-time work.
