About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Bid Manager to join our team at Frankham Consultancy Group. As a key member of our Business Development team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and success through the development and submission of high-quality bids.

Key Responsibilities
  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough competitor analysis to identify key differentiators and develop strategies to enhance our market position.
  • Bid Planning and Coordination: Lead the bid planning process, collaborating with internal stakeholders including Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Technical teams to ensure the successful delivery of bids to clients.
  • Content Creation and Review: Coordinate the creation, review, and editing of high-quality bid content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with bid requirements.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges associated with bids and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact.
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Performance Analysis and Reporting: Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key metrics, lessons learned, and actionable insights.
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry regulations, and client requirements throughout the bid lifecycle.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in bid management, with a minimum of 10 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Skills: Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and lead cross-functional teams effectively.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and bid management software.
  • Professional Certifications: Professional certifications such as APMP (Association of Proposal Management Professionals) or similar are desirable.
