Role Overview

As a Swim Teacher, you will play a crucial role in supporting our objectives in various ways. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that customers of all ages receive the highest quality swimming lessons.

A comprehensive training program will be available, and for those interested in advancing their careers, we will assist you in developing a clear career path with us.

Position Details

Hours: Casual hours, as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver swimming instruction to children and/or adults as part of the Leisure Centre's swimming lesson program, in accordance with your qualifications, training, and experience.
  • Engage with parents/guardians regarding their children's progress and provide guidance on their advancement through the program.
  • Assist in supervising customers in the swimming pool and surrounding areas, ensuring their safety and maintaining discipline.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills and a genuine desire to work closely with customers.
  • Demonstrate the ability to interact effectively with children and their parents.
  • Possess a Level 2 Swim Teaching qualification; however, training can be provided.
  • Complete a DBS check.

Compensation: Up to £15.62 per hour
