Position Overview

An exciting opportunity has emerged for a part-time Medical Education Administrator within the Eating Disorders Team. This role is pivotal in delivering a high-quality administrative support service to the Consultant Psychiatrists and their medical team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support, including audio typing of clinical correspondence and maintaining accurate patient records.
  • Manage and prioritize the scheduling of appointments and clinics, ensuring effective communication with patients and staff.
  • Utilize excellent organizational skills to handle a diverse range of tasks, including drafting correspondence and managing diaries for the medical team.
  • Engage with patients, families, and external agencies to facilitate smooth communication and service delivery.

Essential Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a secretarial or administrative role, preferably within a healthcare setting.
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
