Canterbury, Kent, United Kingdom EKC Group Full time

About the Role

As a Foundation Learning Instructor at EKC Group, you'll guide and support students in diverse learning environments, ensuring a high-quality educational experience. Your responsibilities will encompass teaching, training, assessment, and providing individualized support to learners, empowering them to reach their full potential.

You'll lead designated study programs and courses, playing a key role in designing, delivering, and evaluating curriculum. This includes teaching across various study areas, particularly English, Mathematics, Information Technology, Employability Skills, Personal Development, and Social Skills. Your focus will be on supporting students who are at risk of NEET (Not in Employment, Education, or Training) and ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) learners from Entry Level 2 to Level 1.

About You

We seek a highly organized, creative individual with the ability to plan and deliver engaging and innovative lessons. You'll possess strong interpersonal skills and excel at assessing and tracking student progress, enabling you to effectively plan interventions and ensure all students develop the necessary skills for success.

While prior teaching experience or workplace training delivery is beneficial, it's not essential as comprehensive training will be provided. A positive outlook, empathy towards learners, and strong classroom management skills are crucial. You'll be able to teach a range of designated study programs from Entry Level 2 to Level 2, motivating learners to achieve their academic goals.
