We are seeking an experienced Ecologist to lead exciting and diverse projects across the Southeast and London, while enjoying the flexibility of remote work.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee a variety of projects, from ecological assessments and habitat surveys to impact evaluations, working closely with stakeholders across sectors.
- Lead fieldwork on protected species and habitats.
- Produce technical reports that meet CIEEM standards and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
- Foster strong client relationships and play a key role in business development and tendering processes.
- Contribute to marketing efforts to enhance the consultancy's presence in the ecology sector.
- BSc in a relevant field (MSc is a plus).
- Significant experience in ecological consultancy (essential).
- Strong knowledge of Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG).
- Level 2 Bat Licence.
- Expertise in botany.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle (essential).
This is a fully remote position, but you'll be required to attend occasional site visits and meetings, primarily in London and the Southeast. Our team stays connected through quarterly meetings and social events in London.
