£44 per hour + 33 days of holiday pay
Overtime Compensation:
£15.22 per hour (overtime applicable after 37 hours)
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday: 08:00-17:00
As a Correctional Facility Security Officer, you will collaborate with the correctional service, supporting our client responsible for the upkeep of the facility.
You will be an integral part of the security team, tasked with escorting and supervising contractors such as carpenters, plumbers, and electricians while they perform their maintenance duties.
Key Responsibilities:- Verifying the identification of contractors
- Ensuring contractors are informed about security protocols
- Managing the check-in and check-out process for contractors
- Escorting contractors to their designated work areas within the facility
- Monitoring contractors during their work (note: you will be required to remain with the contractors at all times)
- Ensuring all contractor tools are accounted for before they leave the work area
- Utilizing communication devices to request authorization for contractor movements within the facility
Must be able to successfully complete security vetting, which includes providing references, passing security police checks, and presenting photo identification.
