Job Description

Our client, a leading facilities management and maintenance contractor, is seeking a skilled Electrician to join their team on a permanent basis. As a key member of the organization, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality electrical maintenance services to their clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out electrical isolations to ensure safe disconnection of equipment
  • Check, test, set, and adjust electrical equipment to meet company standards
  • Operate and monitor plant items and services, maintaining systems in accordance with COSHH regulations
  • Record work done, time taken, and materials used in the SAP system or asset history file
  • Participate in special project teams, assisting with cross-site working and other areas as required
  • Liaise with the Engineering team to generate and review assets/PPMs, prioritizing daily work
  • Complete Electrical Distribution Board Testing and Inspections, Building Electrical repairs, and EWP's

Requirements:

  • Recognized trade training scheme or equivalent
  • Ability to undertake all facets of maintenance and installation requirements
  • Customer care and relationship building skills
  • Computer literacy, competent in Microsoft Office and CAFM systems
  • City & Guilds qualification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
