Job Title: B&Q Home Delivery Driver

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Class 2 Driver to join our team in Doncaster, carrying out home deliveries for our B&Q contract.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver B&Q products to customer homes as part of a two-person crew.
  • Work a fixed working week - Tuesday to Saturday, start times vary between 06:00 and 07:00.
  • Ensure the accurate, timely movement and delivery of our customers' products.
  • Adhere to safe working practices to ensure the safety of yourself and others at all times.
  • Provide excellent customer service at all times and take ownership of customer issues on delivery.
  • Carry out multi-drop deliveries within the delivery window in a safe manner.
  • Be aware of vehicle defects and bring to the attention of the Transport Office, as necessary.
  • Attend essential training to carry out the Driver role.
  • Ensure compliance with Tachograph and Road Transport Directive Legislation.
  • Maintain the internal and external cleanliness of the vehicle at all times.
Requirements:
  • Must not have more than 6 points on their licence.
  • Hold a valid Class 2 licence and a valid Digital Tachograph Card.
  • Hold a valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC). We will pay for ongoing CPC training.
  • Be enthusiastic and reliable with a commitment to delivering 1st-class customer service.
  • Have good timekeeping and be able to work unsupervised.
  • Have good communication skills and a flexible can-do attitude to work.
  • Have a good geographical knowledge.
  • Undergo a DBS check upon employment.
