Job Description

**Job Title:** Programme Planning Specialist

**Job Type:** Contract

**Location:** Remote (with occasional on-site work in Manchester)

**About the Role:

  • We are seeking a skilled Programme Planning Specialist to join our team at Practicus on a 3-6 month contract.
  • As a Programme Planning Specialist, you will be responsible for constructing and maintaining programme plans across a portfolio of programmes, ranging from change and transformation to engineering.
  • You will work closely with our Programme Analyst to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
  • Experience working in the Rail or Engineering sector is advantageous, but not required.
  • You will be comfortable using a range of tools, including Microsoft Project.
  • This is a hybrid role, with an expectation to be onsite 2-3 days per week in a Manchester office.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain programme plans, ensuring they are aligned with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Provide regular progress updates to stakeholders, including programme sponsors and team members.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in programme planning.
