About the Company:
We are collaborating with a prominent facilities management organization recognized for exceptional service delivery. They are in search of a skilled Field Service Maintenance Technician to oversee operations across Cambridgeshire & Northamptonshire.

Role Overview:


The Field Service Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring that all maintenance activities are executed on time and that urgent requests are addressed swiftly, adhering to service level agreements (SLAs).

This position demands a strong commitment to Health and Safety regulations, utilizing permit to work systems, and implementing enhancements based on inspection findings.


Key Responsibilities:
1. Execute all planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks and respond to reactive maintenance requests promptly, ensuring compliance with SLAs.
2. Adhere to Health and Safety protocols, utilizing the permit to work system, and implement improvements identified during inspections.
3. Employ a risk-based maintenance approach for critical plant and systems.
4. Provide emergency response, standby, and call-out services, escalating urgent matters and managing outages in accordance with SLAs.
5. Assist with technical audits as directed by management.
6. Maintain comprehensive records to demonstrate adherence to maintenance standards.
7. Supervise contractors as necessary and recommend enhancements through management.
8. Communicate urgent tasks and issues effectively to end-users, clients, and the management team.
9. Improve service delivery through best practices and site systems.
10. Engage in continuous technical training and development, including competency evaluations.

Required Experience:
- Proven experience in both preventative and reactive mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks.
- Familiarity with emergency response and call-out procedures.
- Completion of a recognized apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
- Strong focus on Health and Safety with relevant training.
- Ability to prioritize conflicting tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of 18th Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations and 2391 / Testing and Inspection.
- Experience with HVAC systems is essential.
- F-Gas knowledge is advantageous (handling not required).
