About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Lifting Equipment Engineer to join our team at Kemp Recruitment. As an Electrical Lifting Equipment Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the routine maintenance, servicing, and repair of lifting equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure that hire equipment is maintained to a high standard.
  • Conduct PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) work.
  • Promptly attend customer sites to address breakdowns.
  • Adhere to LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations) and LEEA (Lifting Equipment Engineers Association) standards to ensure compliance and safety.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role involving cranes, powered access, plant machinery, or material handling equipment.
  • Essential electrical knowledge to diagnose and repair overhead cranes effectively.
  • LEEA qualification demonstrating proficiency in lifting equipment inspection and maintenance.
  • CSCS Card to access construction sites safely.
  • A passion for delivering excellent service and the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • NVQ qualification or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Full UK driver's license with a willingness to travel to customer sites.
  • Previous experience as a Crane Engineer would be advantageous.
  • Comfortable working at heights as part of your daily tasks.
  • Knowledge of LOLER regulations.
  • Certifications in crane operation and safety.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
