We are seeking a skilled Electrical Lifting Equipment Engineer to join our team at Kemp Recruitment. As an Electrical Lifting Equipment Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the routine maintenance, servicing, and repair of lifting equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure that hire equipment is maintained to a high standard.
- Conduct PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) work.
- Promptly attend customer sites to address breakdowns.
- Adhere to LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations) and LEEA (Lifting Equipment Engineers Association) standards to ensure compliance and safety.
- Previous experience in a similar role involving cranes, powered access, plant machinery, or material handling equipment.
- Essential electrical knowledge to diagnose and repair overhead cranes effectively.
- LEEA qualification demonstrating proficiency in lifting equipment inspection and maintenance.
- CSCS Card to access construction sites safely.
- A passion for delivering excellent service and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- NVQ qualification or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Full UK driver's license with a willingness to travel to customer sites.
- Previous experience as a Crane Engineer would be advantageous.
- Comfortable working at heights as part of your daily tasks.
- Knowledge of LOLER regulations.
- Certifications in crane operation and safety.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
