Job Summary

The Event Planning Specialist will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing a variety of events for our clients. This will include developing and managing event budgets, creating and managing event timelines and schedules, sourcing and negotiating with vendors, and managing event logistics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Event Planning and Management
    • Develop and manage event budgets to ensure successful execution of events
    • Create and manage event timelines and schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks
    • SOURCE AND NEGOTIATE WITH VENDORS TO SECURE BEST RATES AND SERVICES
    • Manage event logistics, including venue selection, catering, and equipment rentals
  • Event Execution
    • Oversee event setup and execution to ensure smooth and successful events
    • Manage event registration and attendee management to ensure accurate and timely tracking of attendees
    • Collect and compile event feedback to improve future events
    • Prepare post-event reports to analyze event success and identify areas for improvement
  • Qualifications and Skills
    • Proven experience as an Event Planning Specialist or in a related role
    • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, or a related field
    • Strong understanding of event planning and management principles
    • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
    • Familiarity with event planning software (Canva, Eventbrite, etc.)
  • Additional Skills
    • Ability to think creatively and develop innovative event concepts
    • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
