We are currently recruiting for our night shift department with a variety of shifts available throughout the week. Each open vacancy has two shifts per week, starting at 22:00 and ending at 08:00. There will be an option to work overtime throughout the Christmas period and your shift pattern will be discussed during the interview. A weekend shift will be mandatory.

About the Role

As a Trading Assistant in our night shift team, you will support across the store to make sure it's ready to deliver festive magic for our customers. Your responsibilities will include stocking shelves, date checking products, and helping unload deliveries. You will be comfortable being active, including lifting and moving heavy shopping containers, and confident working with new technology.

  • Nightshift premium - in addition to the advertised hourly rate, a further £2.45 nightshift premium is paid for every hour worked between midnight - 5am (where applicable).

Requirements

You will need to be at least 18 years of age if the shifts for this role cover hours earlier than 6am or later than 11pm. Sainsbury's will only recruit individuals who have passed the school leaver's age. To find out the school leavers age for your country, please visit:
