Senior Network Cybersecurity Specialist

Wood Digital Consulting (DC) is seeking a highly experienced Senior Network Engineer specializing in Automation and Control Network design and implementation to support projects across the UK.

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a long-term client contract with potential for extension.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting thorough network vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
  • Implementing robust security measures to safeguard data centers and critical infrastructure.
  • Ensuring software applications are maintained at the latest security patches and updates.
  • Developing and implementing automation workflows for Digital Integration and System Integration projects.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of network solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum BSc Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • Proven expertise in Industrial Cyber Security and Information Security Management principles.
  • In-depth knowledge of Control System Network Design Engineering methodologies.
  • Experience with automation and control engineering, including writing network specifications and system implementation projects.
  • Familiarity with Rockwell and Schneider PLC/SCADA systems is highly advantageous.

Desirable Skills:

  • Expertise in process automation, real-time systems, and advanced security practices.
  • Experience with vulnerability management, risk assessment, compliance frameworks, and penetration testing tools.
