Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class 2 HGV driver to provide relief over busy periods in the Alfreton area. The ideal candidate will have a valid Class 2 HGV licence, a valid UK CPC, and a valid digital tacho card. The role involves delivering a variety of loads across the country in curtain-sided vehicles, with minimal loading and unloading required. Nights out will be a requirement on specific runs.

Key Information
  • Hourly rates of pay: £ (days), £ (nights), £ (Saturdays), £ (Sundays and Bank Holidays) with an additional £23.00 pay for nights out.
  • Working hours: generally starting around 05:00 for shifts across 7 days per week, with 2 to 3 shifts per week available (more available if required).
Requirements
  • A valid Class 2 HGV licence.
  • A valid UK CPC.
  • A valid digital tacho card.
  • At least 6 months commercial driving experience.
