About the Role:
Polaris Children's Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Experienced Mentor to join our team. As a Care Experienced Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting and guiding our service users, providing a safe and non-judgmental space for them to share their experiences and emotions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide emotional support and guidance to service users, helping them to build confidence and self-esteem.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with service users, understanding their individual needs and circumstances.
- Work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to supporting service users.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of individual support plans, ensuring that service users' needs are met and their goals are achieved.
What We Offer:
- A competitive salary of £4,473.87 pro rata, rising to £22,369.35 FTE.
- A part-time contract with flexible working hours, including evening and weekend cover.
- 30 days' annual leave (rising to 35 days with length of service) + Bank Holidays.
