Position Summary:
In the role of Offshore Crane Technician, you will receive comprehensive training and gain experience working with a diverse range of equipment in various global locations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform commissioning, maintenance, inspection, and servicing of cranes and lifting equipment both onshore and offshore.
  • Conduct repairs and inspections on various electrical systems and equipment.
  • Execute fault diagnosis and repairs on hydraulic and mechanical systems.
  • Support the commissioning and maintenance of mechanical equipment.
  • Assist in identifying and procuring spare parts.
  • Prepare detailed and factual reports.
  • Engage in rigging and lift planning activities.
  • Adhere to site health, safety, environment, and quality (HSEQ) standards.
  • Collaborate with site personnel to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Mitigate environmental risks during task execution and utilize all available controls when offshore.


Required Skills:

  • Experience in the offshore/marine crane sector, preferably with Liebherr, Kenz, and NOV cranes.
  • Proficiency in commissioning and troubleshooting electro-mechanical equipment.
  • Able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Comfortable working at heights.
  • Extensive knowledge of crane preventative maintenance.
  • Possession of BOSIET certification.
  • Competent in IT and report writing.
  • Valid UK driving license.
  • Ability to interpret schematics and engineering drawings.
  • Leadership or supervisory experience is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with marine engineering applications.


Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive salary while on retainer.
  • Daily per diem during job deployment (approximately 200 days annually).
