Job Summary:

We are looking for a qualified Family Law Solicitor to handle a range of family law matters, including domestic abuse cases, divorce and separation, financial remedy, co-habitation, children matters, and pre- and post-nuptial agreements. The successful candidate will have experience in all areas of family law work, including public and private law children matters and financial proceedings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle domestic abuse cases, including obtaining emergency injunctions and representing clients in court
  • Assist with divorce and separation cases, including financial remedy and co-habitation disputes
  • Represent clients in children matters, including public and private law cases
  • Advise clients on pre- and post-nuptial agreements
  • Work closely with other solicitors and support staff to ensure the smooth running of cases

Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor with NQ-2 years' PQE or equivalent
  • Experience in family law, including domestic abuse cases and children matters
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Legal Aid work
  • Excellent client care skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
