Physiotherapy Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Physiotherapist to join our team at Swansea Bay University Health Board. As a Physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality physiotherapy services to our patients, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a defined caseload of Paediatric clients, using evidence-based and client-centered principles to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions in hospital and community settings.
- Provide a high standard physiotherapy service to the specialist caseload, ensuring that minimum requirements are met and standards of practice are upheld.
- Lead junior staff through supervision and appraisal, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of excellent patient care.
- Supervise Physiotherapy students on clinical placements, promoting their learning and development.
- Participate in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and develop skills and knowledge through participation in the in-service training scheme.
- Work across the Health Board and travel between SBU Health Board sites as required to support service delivery.

Person Specification- Relevant clinical experience in physiotherapy at band 5 level.
- Experience working in a healthcare setting.
- MDT experience in healthcare.
