As an Intervention Tutor, you will work one-to-one with students, providing tailored support and guidance to help them overcome learning challenges. You will have the flexibility to create individualised programmes of learning, allowing you to adapt your approach to meet the unique needs of each student.

Our Intervention Tutors work with students of all ages and abilities, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. You will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of your students, helping them to build confidence, develop new skills, and achieve their full potential.

We offer a stable workload, with many of our roles requiring ongoing support. You will be paid £25 per hour, plus 12.07% statutory holiday pay. As a valued member of our team, you will also have access to free child protection and prevent duty training, as well as full assistance with Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing one-to-one support to students in core subjects (Maths, English, or Primary)
  • Creating individualised programmes of learning to meet the unique needs of each student
  • Working with students of all ages and abilities, including those with SEN and SEMH needs
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Staying up-to-date with curriculum developments and best practices in education

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher with QTS or equivalent
  • Experience working with primary or secondary aged children
  • Enthusiastic, engaging, and friendly approach to teaching and learning
