Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Tax Manager to join our Private Client Tax team, providing a range of Tax services, managing a private client portfolio, and specialising in personal tax across compliance and advisory work.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Identify tax-sensitive expenditure and wider tax issues, liaising with clients to resolve queries.
  2. Communicate with internal departments to ensure deadlines are met, overseeing client portfolios to ensure HMRC deadlines are met.
  3. Assist in managing the Private Client Tax team by hearing the voice of team members, conducting appraisals, and providing coaching to support team skills and knowledge development.

Requirements

  1. CTA/ACA/ACCA/CA (or equivalent) qualified.
  2. Previous personal/private client Tax or Mixed Tax experience in a similar role within a practice environment is essential.
  3. Strong technical knowledge and the ability to carry out research into complex areas of tax legislation.
