Job Summary:

The Assistant Basketball Coach will assist the head coach in organizing the Basketball program at Kelly Walsh High School. This role involves conducting practices, motivating students, and instructing student athletes in game strategies and techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the head coach in planning and conducting practices
  • Motivate and support student athletes to achieve their full potential
  • Instruct student athletes in game strategies and techniques
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive team culture

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of basketball rules and strategies

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively with students, coaches, and other staff members

• Strong organizational and time management skills

Working Conditions:

This is a part-time position working primarily during the school year. The Assistant Basketball Coach will be required to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
