Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated PMLD Teacher to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a PMLD Teacher, you will be responsible for providing high-quality education to students with profound and multiple learning disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Classroom Practice: Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to support students with PMLD, ensuring they reach their full potential.
  • SEN Experience: Utilize your experience in SEN/Special Schools to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, working collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders.
  • Adaptability and Motivation: Show a willingness to adapt to the diverse needs of students and motivate others to share high standards.

Requirements:

  • Eligibility: Eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident.
  • Criminal Clearance: Have an overseas criminal clearance or be willing to apply for one.
  • DBS: Have a child-enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one.
  • Experience: Previous or relevant experience working with SEND children.
  • Residency: Minimum of three months UK residency.
  • Qualifications: Must hold a Qualified Teacher Status in the UK.
