We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced accounting professional to join our team in Peterborough. As a key member of our dynamic team, you will be responsible for preparing sets of accounts, tax computations, and VAT returns.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake moderate to large accounts preparation assignments, including tax computations and VAT returns
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and VAT returns
  • Review own work and team members' work before passing to the manager
  • Resolve client queries with minimal input from manager
  • Train and mentor junior colleagues
Requirements:
  • ACA/ACCA part-qualified/finalist
  • Experience in accountancy practice preparing sets of accounts
  • Client-facing experience
  • Up-to-date working knowledge of VAT
  • Experience with Sage, Xero, and Quickbooks Online
