Role: Packing & Despatch Team Leader

Salary: £33,000 - £35,000 per annum + Overtime (x1.5) + Pension + Life Assurance + Private healthcare + 25 days' holiday + Bank Holidays

Location: Commutable from Crawley, Horsham, Redhill, Burgess Hill, East Grinstead and surrounding areas

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:15

A leading engineering and manufacturing company is seeking an experienced leader to join their team as a Packing & Despatch Team Leader. This is a brand new role created to support the company's growth and success. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' leadership experience in a warehouse and/or despatch department, with a proven track record of leading a team to achieve daily/weekly targets.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead and coordinate a team of up to 6 staff members in the warehouse, packaging and despatch department.

2. Ensure daily/weekly targets are met, and the team is working efficiently to meet customer demands.

3. Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs.

4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including production, quality, and customer service teams.

5. Identify and implement opportunities to improve inventory control, stock management, and despatch processes.

6. Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies.
