Care Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Assistant to join our team at Solo Support Services. As a Personal Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting an individual with complex needs, including cerebral palsy, severe dystonia, and a profound learning disability.
Key Responsibilities- Provide 1:1 support to ensure the individual's safety and well-being
- Assist with personal care, including PEG feeding, medication, and mobility
- Communicate effectively with the individual using their preferred methods
- Participate in meetings, shadowing, and training to develop a deep understanding of the individual's needs
- Work collaboratively with the existing support team to ensure seamless care
- Calm, friendly, and patient demeanor
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing situations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to learn and develop skills through training and experience
