KS4 English Lead Teacher Job Description

**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced KS4 English Lead Teacher to join our team at a prestigious school in West London. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the KS4 English department and teaching across all key stages.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Lead the KS4 English department and develop a curriculum that meets the needs of all students
* Teach KS4 English to students across all key stages
* Develop and implement effective teaching and learning strategies to improve student outcomes
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive education

**Requirements**

* A formal teaching qualification with QTS (i.e. PGCE)
* Experience of teaching KS4 English
* Ability to lead and manage a department
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
