Job Title: Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at Oscar Associates (UK) Limited. As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our IT infrastructure.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Infrastructure Engineer to join a reputable MSP company and work on a variety of exciting projects. You will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing IT infrastructure, handling system administration tasks, implementing security protocols, monitoring system performance, and creating disaster recovery plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement IT infrastructure solutions
  • Manage and maintain IT systems and infrastructure
  • Implement security protocols and best practices
  • Monitor system performance and optimize infrastructure
  • Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Previous experience as an Infrastructure Engineer or similar role
  • Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware, vSphere, vSAN, and vCenter
  • Proficiency in networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.)
  • Experience with building and configuring servers (Windows and Linux)
  • Familiarity with security principles and best practices
  • Skills in troubleshooting and problem-solving
  • Experience with deploying and managing enterprise-level storage solutions
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance and experience in implementing necessary controls
